A family's story

I was spoiled by homemade gifts and cards this Mother’s Day.

Here is Jake’s handiwork.

A card

The message inside

The “wrapper” for my gift

(That’s my van, some monster butterflies, some hearts and flowers.)

My gift

Yes, it’s on my keyring.

Tate made me a milk-carton planter

And he made a necklace on Monday for “n” day at school, and he said I could have it.

So, I got some great treasures. Totally worth all of the day-to-day junk I deal with….

  1. I was so waiting for these pics!!! Yay! You’ve totally got some awesome artists in the family. The gifts are so precious! Lucky!!

    • Thank you. My oldest has said he wants to be a “short painter” when he grows up. We keep telling him that with our genes, that can be a reality! (I’m height-challenged, and Hubz is average.)

  2. Great stuff. Except my son may have an issue with who actually has the best mom in the world.
